Montgomery Materials a family owned business is seeking a skilled Class A Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Class A Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of ten trucks and ten trailers along with other various types of equipment.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
*Responsibilities:*
- Perform routine maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in compliance with all safety regulations
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
*Requirements:*
- Proven experience as a Class A Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- A strong knowledge of diesel engines, manual transmissions, suspensions and brake repair
- A strong knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to recharge a systems
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with xhqgsiq minimal supervision
- Travel as occasionally needed to truck locations in the event of a break down (local)
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
