Description
We are seeking a Network Engineer who will be responsible for transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, and advanced virtual networking technologies in a timely and effective manner.
The Network Engineering Team plays a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of the client environment. This individual will be responsible for one or more of the following:
Performing upgrades and routine network operations and maintenance (O&M).
Identifying and implementing INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.
Complex configuration management techniques and requirements for managing network systems
Network operating and maintenance concepts and methods used to troubleshoot network problems for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN and VoIP
Cisco IOS, including switching, routing, segment routing and other technologies
Radio Frequency (RF) and spectrum engineering
Optical networking technology and engineering
Satellite communications engineering
Education / Certifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. (Master\'s degree preferred)
Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred.
Experience
Experience in network/cloud/virtual environment engineering or a related role.
Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for this position.
