We are hiring a Optical Network Engineer to build and lead a nationwide DWDM network program from the ground up.
Initial focus on Nokia GX implementation, including MOP development, configuration, and field support. This role evolves into network operations, ensuring reliability through proactive monitoring and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities Lead end-to-end DWDM network implementation, creating MOPs, playbooks, and standardized deployment processes.
Oversee site readiness, commissioning, testing, and vendor escalations while acting as technical lead.
Transition into network operations, managing performance, upgrades, and ongoing service delivery.
Own SLA performance, support NOC operations, and drive optimization and onboarding of new networks.
Required Skills 5+ years optical deployment, turn-up, operations
2+ years hands-on Nokia GX experience
Strong DWDM, OTN, optical networking expertise
MOP creation, execution, network integrations
