Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to maintain, optimize, and scale our network infrastructure. In this role, you will bridge the gap between day‑to‑day operations and high‑level architecture. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our systems are secure, redundant, and lightning‑fast, supporting everything from local branch connectivity to cloud‑integrated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Implementation: Plan and deploy LAN/WAN architectures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor network health and performance using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG to identify bottlenecks before they impact users.
Security & Compliance: Manage VPNs, implement firewall rules (Next-Gen Firewalls), and ensure network security protocols (IPsec, SSL, TLS) are up to date.
Cloud Integration: Support and maintain connectivity between on‑premises infrastructure and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Troubleshooting: Act as the Tier 1/2 escalation point for network outages, performing deep-packet analysis (Wireshark) and root cause analysis.
Documentation: Maintain precise network diagrams, IP address schemes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Core Networking: Deep understanding of the OSI Model and TCP/IP.
Routing & Switching: Hands‑on experience with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VLAN tagging (802.1Q).
Hardware: Proficiency with Cisco (IOS/NX‑OS), Juniper, or Arista hardware.
Firewalls: Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco ASA/Firepower.
SD‑WAN: Understanding of Software‑Defined WAN technologies is a major plus.

Supervisory Responsibility
Reports directly to Lead Security Engineer.
