Gilbert, Arizona (Phoenix Metro)
Compensation:
$130,000 - $158,000 + Excellent Benefits
Relocation Assistance:

Work Schedule:
9/80 Schedule (Every Other Friday Off)

A leading aerospace and defense engineering organization is seeking a
Senior Embedded Test Engineer
to support the design, development, and automation of advanced electronic test systems for mission-critical aerospace hardware.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work on cutting-edge space and defense programs involving embedded avionics, spacecraft electronics, and complex test platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and automated test systems
Create and maintain
LabVIEW
applications for instrument control, monitoring, and operator interfaces
Develop software in
C , Python, or PERL for embedded test and automation environments
Support
VxWorks
based embedded systems integration and test execution
Interface with hardware teams on analog/digital boards, power systems, SBCs, and cPCI architectures
Develop schematics, cable drawings, documentation, and test procedures
Lead troubleshooting, debugging, validation, and acceptance testing
Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional engineering teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
7+ years of relevant engineering experience
Strong experience with
LabVIEW
Programming experience in
C , Python, or PERL
Experience with
VxWorks
Experience with embedded systems and hardware/software integration
Knowledge of circuits, board design, test equipment, and electrical systems
Ability to create documentation using Visio, Excel, Word, and engineering tools
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Aerospace, defense, avionics, or spacecraft systems background
FPGA / VHDL familiarity
EGSE or automated production test experience
