
Structural Technician (Wichita)

Our client is currently seeking experienced
Aircraft Structures Technicians
to support a high-priority heavy maintenance program in Wichita, KS. This role will focus on structural work on
Bombardier Challenger
aircraft, including
double wing plank replacement .
While the initial assignment is based in Wichita, candidates may be reassigned to other locations or projects depending on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Perform
heavy structural repairs and modifications
on aircraft
Complete
double wing plank replacements
in accordance with engineering specifications
Interpret and work from
blueprints, SRMs, and engineering drawings
Execute structural tasks including drilling, riveting, sealing, and assembly
Ensure all work complies with
quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Accurately document all maintenance activities
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum
8 years of total aircraft maintenance experience
At least
5 years of heavy maintenance experience
Proven experience in
aircraft structural repair
Background on
Bombardier aircraft preferred ; strong
business jet experience
will be considered
Ability to work
extended hours (50+hours/week)
Must supply
own tools
Must be eligible to work as a
1099 contractor
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
major structural replacements
(e.g., wing planks, skins)
Familiarity with
OEM maintenance manuals and procedures
Previous experience in a
heavy maintenance or MRO environment
