
Business Development Manager (Sioux Falls)

Business Development Manager
Location:
Sioux Falls, SD (hybrid flexibility in MN or SD)
Salary range:
$85K–$100K
What You'll Be Doing
Grow the customer base into new states and markets
Support long-term client retention across existing school district accounts
Manage the full sales cycle including RFP responses and contract onboarding
Meet regularly with clients and prospects to understand needs and gather feedback
Build trusted relationships with senior district stakeholders
Maintain accurate pipeline management through CRM systems
Provide product feedback based on customer needs and competitive landscape
What They're Looking For
Proven success in business development, preferably in K-12 or edtech
Experience building relationships with district leaders and guiding purchasing decisions
Comfortable with frequent multi-state travel
CRM experience to manage pipelines and drive growth
RFP experience is a plus
Background in education or familiarity with rural public schools is a strong advantage
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
Must be a current resident of Minnesota or South Dakota
Special education experience is a plus

$85,000–$100,000 base salary with healthy salary reviews at 6 months and 1 year, then annually every year after
