Requirements
Strong background in data networking
Experience with firewalls and routers is mandatory
Basic understanding of port forwarding, 1:1 NAT, and critical security features of firewalls
Familiarity with Cisco Meraki or similar firewall technologies
Preferred CCNA certification or equivalent experience; Meraki certification is advantageous
At least 1 year of experience in Telecom or Enterprise Network Engineering is preferred
Responsibilities
Collaborate with field technicians and end-clients to deploy managed Cisco Meraki equipment including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
Assess customer data network design requirements
Adhere to engineering process guidelines for network engineering and ensure proper documentation and communication
Maintain a solid understanding of network operations
Effectively communicate with field staff, customers, and project managers
Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and fill knowledge gaps
