Novant Health is hiring a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) registered nurse for the night shift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. We’re offering up to a $ 3 0 ,000 sign-on bonus as well as up to $7,500 relocation.
- Schedule : Full-Time , 0.9 FTE, 72 Hours per 2 weeks, 12-hour Night Shift, 7p – 7 a

About our Medicine IV Unit:
We're seeking compassionate and patient care driven nurse s to join our Med Surg team ! Our unit comprises 4 1 beds ; we have a patient ratio averaging 5-6 :1 it is our goal with our new team model , where every patient is assigned an RN , LPN and C NA it is our goal for the ratio t hen be 10:2 . Given the high modality of the cases we handle, our nursing team thrives on great communication , o ngoing team support and training within the workplace. What We're Looking For:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required .
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing .
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license required .
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required .
- 1 year of acute nursing experience, required .
- Provide specialized care and monitor patients closely.
- Work with healthcare teams to develop care plans for patients.
- Manage complex conditions and perform necessary procedures.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions.
- Educate patients and families on care and treatment options.
- Accurately document patient information and care interventions in medical records.
