
Quality Technician, Manufacturing Inspection, Product Quality - Night Shift

This position is night shift - Midnight to 8:00 AM

What You Will Do
As a Quality Technician, you will help ensure that products meet customer specifications and company quality standards by performing inspections and supporting production teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Inspect finished products, in-process parts, and incoming materials for quality and compliance with specifications
Measure and record dimensional data using tools such as calipers, gauges, and scales
Collect product samples and conduct tests including drop, leak, and seal testing
Identify defects and communicate quality issues with production supervisors
Approve product following process or maintenance changes
Trace quality issues to the source and support corrective actions
Prepare non-conformance reports and inspection documentation
Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports
Verify calibration of measuring instruments and inspection equipment
Prepare product samples for customer shipments when required
You will work closely with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to maintain product quality and improve manufacturing processes.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of manufacturing quality inspection experience preferred
Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and scales
Ability to read and record inspection data accurately
Basic computer skills (Excel or quality data systems preferred)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work on your feet in a production environment
Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
Experience with manufacturing inspection procedures
Familiarity with quality reporting systems (Datamyte or similar)
Understanding of root cause analysis or defect investigation
Experience supporting production teams in a manufacturing environment

This position operates within a manufacturing facility and may involve:
Standing, walking, bending, and lifting during inspections
Working near production equipment and machinery
Using protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves
