Salary Range: $71,500 - $150,200
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic technical team in Albuquerque, NM. This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects across the continental United States, providing you with a unique and enriching professional experience.
Responsibilities
Install and configure a wide range of communications equipment systems, including LANs, WANs, deployable networks supporting satellite terminals, phone systems, video teleconferencing equipment, and various communications systems.
Perform integration of network equipment in transportable, mobile, and fixed site operations centers.
Install and configure network routers, switches, and firewalls, including termination of various communications cables and installation of communications infrastructure.
Conduct site surveys and capability analysis of Operations Centers (OC).
Verify adherence to established installation standards and practices.
Design and install various networking and communications suite equipment.
Develop detailed drawings, User Guides, test plans, test procedures, rack elevations, pin‑outs, cable connections, equipment maintenance manuals, and other essential communications documentation.
Interact with development and test teams to coordinate system upgrades and test cycles.
Serve as a member of the quality inspection team.
Work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
Security Clearance: An active DoD Top Secret.
Education: BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 4-5 years of demonstrated experience in support of DoD or other federal agency in a network engineering capacity.
Certification: DoD 8140 Level II Certification.
STIG Experience: Experience with running manual STIG checklists and applying recommended fix actions on network equipment.
Desired
Advanced Degree: MS in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems.
Extensive Experience: 10 years of experience supporting mobile tactical networks for OCONUS deployed DoD personnel.
Cisco Certifications: Cisco Networking Certifications (CCNA, etc.).
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI.
Cisco CCNA or Higher: Cisco CCNA or higher certification.
