Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to assist our Engineering team for the Summer of 2026! This role offers hands‑on experience supporting engineering and design efforts, particularly in fire alarm system projects. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and comfortable working with CAD software and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Clean up and update CAD files for fire alarm system drawings
Assist in the preparation and organization of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals
Support the development and modification of CAD drawings
Review and verify project Bill of Materials (BOM) for accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with engineering team members on various design‑related tasks
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Familiarity with fire alarm systems or building systems
Experience reviewing technical documents or BOMs
