Locum Interventional Radiologist
Seeking
multiple Locum Interventional Radiologists
for coverage beginning
March 21, 2026 , with an initial
3 6 month assignment
and the option to extend as needed.
Reason for Coverage
Radiology group transitioning to an employed model
Schedule & Call
Monday Friday,
7:30 AM 4:00 PM
24-hour call coverage required , including nights and weekends (onsite)
High-volume, fast-paced IR service
Practice Setting
Hospital-based with some remote work components
Trauma Level I facility
Full complement of support staff
Patient Population
Neonates through geriatrics (pediatric cases are rare)
Technology
Epic, PowerScribe, and PACS
Credentialing
Estimated timeframe:
days
Credentialing and application fees are
not reimbursed
Qualifications & Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR)
Fellowship training in
Interventional Radiology
highly preferred
Active
Connecticut medical license
or IMLC at time of submission
DEA registration or eligibility
Current
BLS certification
(ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)
Proficiency with PACS, PowerScribe, and modern radiology IT platforms
Ability to perform interventional procedures; fluoroscopy capability to be noted at submission
Experience in high-volume, integrated health system environments
Strong collaboration skills and commitment to quality and patient-centered care
NPDB self-query required at time of presentation (pulled within the same month)
