About the Role
CiTi BOCES is seeking a dedicated
Practical Nursing Instructor
to support student learning in our Adult Education Practical Nursing Program. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and preparing the next generation of nursing professionals.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
RN with a Master’s in Nursing Education (MSN),
or
RN with a Bachelor’s degree currently pursuing an MSN in Nursing Education
(Selected candidate may enroll in an MSN program upon hire)
Key Responsibilities
Deliver theory instruction aligned with course outcomes
Develop and maintain instructional materials
Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback
Maintain accurate student records
Foster a safe, positive, and professional learning environment
Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development and program improvement
Provide student advisement and academic support
Deliver lab and clinical instruction, including pre- and post-clinical discussions
Support additional program needs, including classroom, lab, or clinical coverage
