Technical Program Manager
Optomi, in partnership with a leading media and entertainment organization, is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to support large-scale engineering initiatives within a high-visibility streaming and digital technology environment. This individual will partner closely with engineering, product, and business leaders to drive delivery across multiple technical workstreams focused on media playback, content delivery, and customer-facing streaming experiences. This is an ideal opportunity for a TPM who thrives in fast-paced, highly technical environments and enjoys working cross-functionally to translate business priorities into executable engineering plans.

Los Angeles, CA (4 days onsite)

12-Month Contract W2 Only (Likely Extension or Conversion)
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Technical Program Management experience in software or technology environments
Strong experience leading cross-functional engineering programs at scale
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience operating in Agile environments with strong Scrum methodology knowledge
Excellent communication skills with ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proven ability to work independently and proactively in ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications
Streaming media, video playback, OTT, or CDN experience
Prior experience embedded within engineering squads or product teams
Technical background in engineering, scripting, or development (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
Experience with SQL, ETL, Data Warehousing, Looker, or Tableau
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Airtable, Google Workspace, Smartsheet, and MS Office
Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple technical programs across engineering teams in a complex Agile environment
Partner with engineering leads to manage sprint ceremonies, roadmaps, releases, and backlog prioritization
Translate business objectives into technical requirements and actionable delivery plans
Manage intake processes, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
Identify risks, remove blockers, and drive issue resolution across cross-functional teams
Coordinate schedules and deliverables with technical leads, product teams, and business stakeholders
Deliver executive-level status reporting, updates, and communication plans
Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams
