Logistics Specialist (Alsip)

M-F 7AM - 3:30PM with overtime
Duration: 04+ Months with possible extensions
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience in a chemical production environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Comfortable working with flammable and other hazardous chemicals
Must be able to complete basic math calculations
Must be able to operate hand tools, such as pliers, screwdrivers, and scrapers.
Experience with forklift operation
Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position including climbing stairs, ladders, lift 55 pounds, connect hoses, operate manual valves, wear FRC uniforms and full-face respirator (clean-shaven)
Experience required:
High school diploma/GED required.
1-3 years warehousing or logistics experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while acting as a strong team member.
Strong communication skills required.
