A growing automation innovator is expanding its U.S. service footprint and seeking a hands-on Robotics Technician / Field Engineer to help customers keep advanced robotic systems running at peak performance. The right person will play a visible role in customer success, equipment reliability, and the continued growth of a cutting-edge robotics operation in the Midwest.

Broad technical visibility across installation support, repairs, software updates, demos, and customer-facing problem solving.

Focus
Travel to customer facilities to inspect, diagnose, and restore robotic and electromechanical systems.
Apply software or firmware updates, verify system performance, and support safe restart after service activity.
Replace components, complete preventive maintenance tasks, and document repair outcomes.
Partner with customers, integrators, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve equipment uptime.
Support receiving, staging, shipment preparation, and basic inspection of equipment and parts.
Maintain clear service records and escalate recurring technical issues, product risks, and field observations.
Assist with demos, pilot activity, and customer training sessions when needed.

Skill Set
Bachelor’s degree in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Working knowledge of robotics, automation systems, industrial equipment, or similar electromechanical platforms.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a field environment.
Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers and cross functional teams.
Willingness to travel frequently, approximately 50 percent or more, based on customer and project needs.
Experience with robot programming, collaborative robots, or industrial robotics is preferred.
Korean language skills are helpful, but not required.
