As a Network Engineer at Amazon Leo, you will lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of mission‑critical enterprise networks supporting our development facilities, pre‑production and production labs. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Deployment and ongoing maintenance of complex network solutions in manufacturing and lab environments

Ensure robust network operations supporting development and testing efforts.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, interconnectivity, and performance issues

Implement and manage change control processes for network modifications

Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation

Enhance and manage monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection

Bring up labs in new locations and maintain the network and security integrity as the team scales

Drive automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency

Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation for critical infrastructure support

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure network reliability for mission‑critical operations

Export Control Requirement
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Basic Qualifications

1+ years of major internet routing protocols experience

1+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience

1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Experience with AWS and AWS networking products such as Direct Connect and Transit Gateway

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
