Description of Task to be Performed
AnaVation is seeking an experienced Network Engineer an active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph. The ideal candidate will have expertise in network design, architecture, and operations to work as part of a collaborative, multi-discipline team in support of the US Government providing expertise in the field of network engineering. This is a full-time position is located onsite with our customer near Quantico, VA. Remote work is unavailable at this time.
What you will be doing
Designing and implementing Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
Conveying technical designs, ideas and results to non-technical audiences and providing briefings to governmentpersonnel at all levels
Working with a great team and customer supporting a rewarding mission!
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or 8 years of relevant practical experience)
Clearance: Current TS and ability to obtain SCI with a CI polygraph
Skills & Qualifications: Must have knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, and network architecture planning
Must have knowledge of remote administration and secure Virtual Private Networking
Must understand commercial encryption standards and their application in IP networking
Must have knowledge of VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IP Multicasting
Must have strong cybersecurity hardening experience in a federal setting
Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently as well as within small and large groups
Knowledge of TACLANE a strong plua
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to navigate and configure Linux operating system
Understanding of wired data transport mediums to include Category 5e/6 and fiber optics
Experience with Cisco equipment and the implementation of STIGS, ACL's, VPN's, OSPF, VRF, Cisco ASA and Firepower firewalls, WLC's, Wireless AP's
Experience with TACLANES, Cisco ISE, DNA Center, RSA SecurID
Cloud experience with AWS
Certifications: CCIE and MCSE
