The Work
As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud‑based network infrastructures. Your day‑to‑day work will involve configuring and optimizing network components within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments. You will manage load balancing solutions, deploy next generation firewall policies, coordinate proxy server configurations, and manage access control within virtual cloud networks using network security groups. Troubleshooting complex network issues and proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities will be a key part of your responsibilities, requiring a deep understanding of both traditional and cloud‑native networking principles.
Here’s What You Need
Background leveraging scripting and automation tools to streamline management of network services.
Familiarity with advanced network design methodologies, hands‑on experience with cloud networking services, and exposure to modern security appliances.
Experience diagnosing and resolving network performance bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions that align with organizational goals.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and integrate new tools into existing workflows.
Bachelor's Degree.
T3 background investigation.
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Certification in OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP.
Experience with advanced networking solutions.
Familiarity with cloud automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Python SDK, Bash, CLI).
Hands‑on experience with cloud migration projects.
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
Eligibility Requirements
US – Citizen.
Compensation: For the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland, the pay range is $91,300—$184,900 USD.
