Why Join Litens We are seeking a commercially driven Technical Account Manager with deep experience in automotive thermal management systems, particularly electric water pumps (EWPs) and electronically controlled thermal components. This role is highly customer‑facing, responsible for building strong OEM and Tier 1 relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and guiding customers through the technical and commercial lifecycle of advanced thermal products. The ideal candidate blends sales acumen, customer advocacy, and technical fluency, enabling them to influence specifications, win new programs, and position the company as a preferred partner for next‑generation ICE, hybrid, and EV thermal systems.
What you will do
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary customer interface, owning day‑to‑day communication with OEM and Tier 1 engineering, purchasing, and program teams.
Lead customer technical reviews, commercial discussions, and roadmap alignment meetings.
Build long‑term strategic relationships by understanding customer priorities, platform plans, and emerging needs in pump and thermal system technologies.
Advocate for the customer internally, ensuring requirements, concerns, and opportunities are clearly communicated to engineering and leadership.
Sales & Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for:
Electric water pumps (brushless, variable‑speed, smart‑controlled)
Integrated thermal modules
EV battery and power electronics cooling solutions
Develop account strategies that position the company for long‑term growth across ICE, hybrid, and EV platforms.
Support quoting activities by providing technical insights into feasibility, cost drivers, and competitive positioning.
Deliver compelling technical and commercial proposals that differentiate the company’s solutions.
Program Execution & Launch Support
Track program timing, prototype delivery, validation status, and PPAP readiness, ensuring customers receive timely updates.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain) to ensure flawless execution of customer commitments.
Provide on‑site or remote support during customer builds, launches, and early production phases.
Drive customer satisfaction by proactively addressing issues related to pump performance, software calibration, or system integration.
Commercial & Technical Documentation
Prepare customer‑ready presentations, technical proposals, cost analyses, and engineering change documentation.
Support commercial negotiations with data‑driven justification and clear communication of technical impacts.
Maintain accurate program documentation, including requirements matrices, risk assessments, and change histories.
What you will bring
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in automotive thermal management, with direct exposure to electric water pumps or coolant pump systems.
Strong customer‑facing communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
Experience supporting OEM or Tier 1 accounts through development cycles.
Familiarity with APQP, DFMEA/PFMEA, DVP&R, PPAP, and automotive program processes.
Experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or customer‑facing program management role.
Background in pump electronics, BLDC motor systems, or smart thermal controls.
Experience working with global teams and multi‑region customer programs.
Understanding of competitive landscape and market trends in EV thermal systems.
