Pride Health is hiring for a

Medical Assistant

to support our client’s medical facility based in

Durham, NC.

This is a

13-week

(possibility of extension) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:
Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance.
Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and as Certified assisting practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care.
Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

Education/Requirements:
Min Years of Exp: 1 Year
Certification from one of the following AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA or ARMA
Basic Life Support (BLS) – must be certified through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Additional Details:
Location : Durham, NC
Contract Length : 13 Weeks + possible extension
Shift : M-F 8 am-5 pm
Pay range:

$20-$25/hr (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
