Compensation
Base Salary Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000/yr.
Specific offers within the listed pay ranges are determined by a variety of factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and business needs.
Responsibilities
Maintain integrity of critical site facilities and Cogent Hubs, including:
Commercial power switch gear
Emergency power generation
Uninterruptible Power Supplies
DC Plant
Battery Plants
Air Quality (EPA compliance)
Centrifugal, Screw, and other various compressor types
Air Handling and distribution systems
Self‑contained package units
HVAC control and systems
Cooling towers and other condensing systems
Alarm systems, codes and regulations
Clean Agent
Water Systems, pumps, flow control
CO₂ sensors
Building Automation Systems (BAS)
System and administration
Programming
System Architecture
Network troubleshooting
Peripheral devices
Qualifications
Required:
10+ years of experience in facility management with a skillset of diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues and finding solutions to correct facility system problems
Preferred:
5+ years of experience with project management/project implementation supporting less experienced engineers
10+ years working directly with vendors and reviewing vendor methods of procedures
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
