$55k-$75k Base + commission ($110k+ OTE) plus benefits
Position Summary
Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their B2B Sales Department to market the company’s products and services to businesses. This position is responsible for identifying new small to medium-sized clients through direct prospecting efforts and networking. The role represents services such as Payroll Services, Time & Attendance Tools, HR Services, Insurance, and other related products directly to executives, business owners, and other key decision-makers.
Job Duties
Schedule and conduct appointments and presentations with final decision-makers and close sales
Cold call small to medium-sized businesses to schedule meetings and demonstrations
Network with business owners and generate sales through referrals
Remain current and knowledgeable about company products, services, and pricing
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
2+ years of B2B sales experience with medium to high sales activity
Proven cold-calling ability with an assertive and positive sales approach
Valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, proof of auto insurance, and a clean driving record required; must pass a background check with acceptable results
Ability to overcome obstacles and objections in order to achieve sales goalsStrong CRM system skills and proficiency with spreadsheet software
Excellent social, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent industry experience
