We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to support operations in Quantico, VA. This is a full‑time position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
What You’ll Do
Provide network engineering, administration, and cybersecurity support for multi‑classification networks and infrastructure
Create virtualized environments to support test events, ensure operational readiness, and troubleshoot issues during execution
Administer network systems: apply patches, harden systems, review logs
Support RMF compliance activities, including documentation and vulnerability analysis
Integrate server and virtual hosting technologies into secure network architecture
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (ABET/CAE‑accredited) OR 5+ years’ experience in network design, infrastructure, and security
Technical
Hands‑on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls
Experience applying STIGs, IAVA compliance, and DoD cybersecurity policies
Familiarity with RMF, network segmentation, and defense‑in‑depth design
Familiarity with virtualized networking infrastructure and Software Defined Networking (SDN)
Preferred (Nice to have)
Working knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, VPN security, PKI, and common attack vectors
Familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) tools and traffic analysis
Experience supporting DoD environments
Certifications
Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance
Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies
Travel & Passport Requirements
Some overnight stays possible
OCONUS locations include: Bullet out the locations
Work Environment
Full‑time onsite role on USMC Base Quantico in Quantico, VA
Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site
Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday
Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site
Background & Security
Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation
Alcohol and Drug screening may be required for federal contract compliance
