Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer / Java Developer to support production‑level machine learning systems for a dynamic pricing platform. This role is closer to a traditional software engineering position and focuses on building, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure that enables ML models to operate at scale. The ideal candidate is a strong Java developer with cloud‑native experience who can bridge the gap between machine learning models and enterprise software systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain systems that support machine learning models


• Develop APIs to serve and integrate ML models


• Support model training, deployment, and monitoring


• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML‑enabled systems


• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of ML services


• Partner with data scientists to operationalize models


• Support ML models throughout their full lifecycle

Skills and Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a software engineer or ML engineer


• Strong Java development experience (primary language)


• Strong software engineering fundamentals


• Experience building and supporting APIs


• Experience working in cloud‑native environments


• Understanding of machine learning concepts/models


• Familiarity with:




• AWS


• CI/CD pipelines


• GitHub


• Jenkins


• Docker and Kubernetes – experience supporting ML models in production


• Python experience (not required)


• Prior experience working with ML lifecycle tools (training, monitoring, evaluation)
