Semiconductor Test Architect

At Apple, the Camera Semiconductor Technologies team is responsible for the research and development of semiconductor solutions across multiple platforms, from CMOS image sensors for the cameras, to lasers for the Face ID and LiDAR Scanners modules. We are looking for an experienced Test Architect to spearhead our efforts in test strategies and solutions, to meet Apple's high standards for performance, reliability, safety and cost.
As a Semiconductor Test Architect, you will be responsible for defining scalable hardware test solutions, to support a wide range of semiconductor technologies going into Apple's product lines, from iPhone, Mac, Watch to Vision.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience in the engineering field.\nDomain knowledge in one or more of the following areas: lasers, LEDs, optics, photodiodes, or camera sensors.\nExperience with one or more of the following optical metrology equipment: power meters, optical spectrum analyzers, spectrometers, oscilloscope or cameras.
M.S. or Ph.D. in Materials, Physics, Mechanical, Computer or Electrical Engineering.\n10+ years\nExperience with wafer industries or other high volume mass production facilities. \nExperience with one or more of the following test hardware: wafer-level handler, probe cards, ATE (Automated Test Equipment), or motorized stages.\nDemonstrated capability to collaborate cross-functionally with teammates and partners.\nProficiency in verbal and written communication.\nCritical thinking and trouble shooting skills.\nAbility to self-motivate, adapt, and innovate.
