Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments
- Help create a positive, calm experience for pediatric patients
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Chart clinical notes accurately and efficiently
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements
- Dental assisting experience preferred (pediatric experience a plus)
- Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- Ability to work well with children and families
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
