The VP will be responsible for designing and deploying ML systems to solve high-impact business problems, leading the adoption of emerging ML techniques, and ensuring that ML models are developed with a focus on safety, fairness, and transparency. Collaboration with cross-functional leaders and mentoring of other ML engineers and data scientists are also key aspects of the position.

Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in building and deploying machine learning systems, with a strong preference for those with a background in investment banking, fixed income trading, or hedge funds. The role requires a deep expertise in various ML techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, and experience with modern ML and data stack tools. A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred, and a commitment to responsible AI practices is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in fixed income analytics, derivatives pricing, and risk management, and experience with MLOps principles and cloud-based ML infrastructure.
