Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Not only will you have the chance to refine your practice in a Level 1 Trauma designated operating room, but you will also boost your résumé with hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-acuity setting. Schedule:13-week assignment40 hours per week (no guaranteed hours for the first 2 weeks)3 PM – 11 PM, Monday through FridayCall as needed; no weekends/holidays Requirements:Active BLS certification from the American Heart AssociationCurrent NBSTSA certification as a Surgical TechnologistMinimum of five years’ experience in operating room settings, ideally Level 1 TraumaProficiency in emergency neuro (crani/spine), eyes, endovascular, ENT, general trauma, plastics, robotics, ortho (regular and trauma)Additional skills in robotics, transplant, burn, ophthalmology, or cardiac/thoracic are a plusAbility to scrub in for general, urology, gynecology, plastics, ENT, ortho, and neuro casesSuccessful completion of virtual orientation and e-learning for Surgical Techs Responsibilities:Provide highly skilled technical support before, during, and after surgical proceduresMaintain a safe and efficient surgical environmentEnsure proper functioning of surgical equipmentFacilitate effective communication among surgical team members
