Position Title: Vice President of Business Development

Reports To: CEO & President
Position Overview
The VP of Business Development will report directly to the CEO & President and play a critical leadership role in driving corporate expansion, partnership acquisition, and long-term revenue strategy. This executive will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with corporate partners, investors, and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Revenue Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with LIMC’s multi-revenue model
Develop and execute business development strategies across motorsports, R&D, hospitality, retail, media, and experiential sectors
Drive sponsorship, partnership, and commercial revenue initiatives
Evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging industry opportunities
Partnership Acquisition & Relationship Management
Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners, OEMs, sponsors, investors, and strategic alliances
Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, sponsorships, joint ventures, and licensing deals
Collaborate with legal and executive leadership on deal structuring
Corporate Development
Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investment initiatives when applicable
Assist with investor relations presentations and growth planning
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Executive teams
Align partnership strategy with LIMC’s brand, events, and development roadmap
Performance & Reporting
Establish KPIs and revenue targets
Provide regular performance updates to CEO & President
Prepare executive-level reports and forecasts
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
8+ years of progressive experience in business development, partnerships, or corporate strategy
Proven success securing high-value partnerships and revenue deals
Experience in motorsports, sports/entertainment, automotive, hospitality, or large-scale developments preferred
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and executive presence
Strong analytical and financial acumen
