Dental Hygienist (Part-time)

Office in Wintersville Ohio looking for a hygienist to work at least Fridays 9am -1pm. One Friday a month will be 9am-2pm. Position has potential to become full time. Pay to be discussed further upon interview.```Duties```- Perform dental hygiene procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions- Maintain accurate patient records, create treatment plans and update medical histories via computer-Clean room/ office communal areas daily- Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures```Qualifications```- Valid dental hygiene license in Ohio- Associate's degree or higher in dental hygiene- CPR/BLS certified- Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental or Dentirx- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality-Presents with a professional appearance and an understanding attitude towards patients- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a teamPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.Job Type: Part-timePay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hourExpected hours: 4.0 per weekSchedule:* 4 hour shiftWork Location: In person
