Job description:
Job is seasonal from March- June 5, 2026
Position Objective:
Drive a commercial truck. Deliver fertilizer to local farms.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Specific Duties:
Be able and ready to drive and operate a fertilizer tender truck.
Customer Service:
Be able to deliver agronomy products (fertilizer, pesticides, and seed) to the patrons liking, following specific instructions given by the client.
Always be friendly and respectful of the patron.
Skills Necessary for Job Performance:
Able to drive small or large fertilizer delivery trucks.
Be able to work overtime and weekends.
Have the ability to think clearly.
Personal Attributes Desired:
Have a friendly disposition and a good attitude; be service oriented; neat, clean, honest and able to work with a variety of other employees, including supervisors.
Use common courtesy when dealing with customers or with company personnel.
Be able to meet and take directions from customers and your supervisor when delivering agronomy products.
Experience and Licensing Requirements:
CDL driving experience is desired.
Be fully licensed: requires a Class A or B CDL Seasonal Class B CDLs are available to most people.
Have a clean driving record: No serious offenses within the past 3 years.
Have a current CDL Medical Card.
Be capable of operating within the Montana Department of Transportation rules and regulations including but not limited to: Posted speed limits, traffic signs and seat belt law.
Training and Safety Requirements:
Agronomy Tender Driver will be required to participate in federally mandated drug/alcohol testing. (Failure to comply with the testing program will be grounds for immediate dismissal.)
Failure to pass any required test without a valid reason could be grounds for immediate dismissal.
Agronomy Tender Drivers will report all safety/DOT violations to the Managerimmediately.
Employees witnessing someone else violate any safety/DOT regulations, etc. will also be required to report said violations.
Write up any accidents or mishaps; report to the Operations Manager.
Must adhere to all RMS policies and procedures.
