A bit about us: Stable, Thriving company seeks to add a Design Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer to the team! In this role, you\'ll be designing and improving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components & systems. This role is the link that connects product design & production! You will be supporting both new product development & continuous improvement of existing equipment & systems. This position is located in University Park, IL and will be 100% on-site, with hybrid flexibility down the line!

Job Details 2+ years of Design Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience involving pneumatic and hydraulic systems (experience owning larger, complex, heavy equipment systems)
Excited to work on the shop floor with technicians on redesigns!
Fundamental knowledge of reverse engineering and reengineering as that will be a big part of this role.
Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering (Or equivalent) is required
SolidWorks proficiency, with experience in product data management and ERP systems
Previous experience with troubleshooting, problem-solving, teamwork and good communication skills are essential!
Previous experience developing efficient and reliable manufacturing processes
Knowledge of FMEA, Lean Manufacturing practices, Value Engineering (VE), and Six Sigma
