Position Overview As a Fabricator, you will perform essential metalforming and finishing operations that support our aerospace production lines. This role involves rolling, bending, folding, and deburring metal components to exact specifications. You’ll work closely with machinists, welders, and quality inspectors to ensure every part meets our rigorous standards. Key Responsibilities Perform metal forming operations including rolling, bending, and folding sheet and plate materials. Deburr, grind, and finish metal parts to remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections. Operate fabrication equipment such as rollers, press brakes, shears, and hand tools. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications. Inspect fabricated parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality. Support production flow by staging materials and preparing parts for downstream operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Report nonconformances or equipment issues promptly. Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the fabrication department. Required Qualifications Experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or related trade. Ability to read engineering drawings and understand basic GD&T. Proficiency with fabrication tools including rollers, brakes, shears, grinders, and deburring equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to safely lift and handle metal materials. Strong communication skills and a teamoriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace or highprecision manufacturing. Familiarity with AS9100 quality environments. Experience working with aerospace alloys such as aluminum, stainless steel, or Inconel. Exposure to CNC press brakes or automated fabrication equipment. Why Join Lighthouse Manufacturing?
