Looking for a teacher to lead our Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses in Digital Media and TV Production. As a Digital Media instructor, you will develop and deliver project‑based curriculum in graphic design, video editing, camera operation, scriptwriting, and broadcasting using industry‑standard tools like Adobe Premiere Pro. Responsibilities include managing a media lab, directing student‑produced news shows, and preparing students for creative careers. For more details, please see the attached job description.
The certificated teacher, supported by building and district leadership, fosters a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes students' academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional growth. Using Washington State standards and district‑adopted curriculum, the teacher delivers high‑quality, differentiated Tier I instruction tailored to diverse learner needs. Collaborating with colleagues, the teacher analyzes student data to identify those needing Tier II supports and provides targeted interventions. The teacher also communicates progress with families, builds positive relationships, and actively contributes to the school's Multi‑Tiered System of Supports to ensure equitable outcomes for all students.
