Overview
Project Manager – Substations and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)
Location: St. Albans, WV; Uniontown, OH — Travel required. Full-time.
Strengthening our nation’s power grid isn’t easy, but reliable electrical service is essential to everyday life. Michels Power, Inc. executes the full spectrum of electrical infrastructure projects and restores power after natural disasters. Our substation group plays a critical role in building and maintaining the backbone of the grid throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
Manage a phase of a large complex project or multiple medium-sized projects (approximately greater than $500K and up to $20M).
Own all aspects of a project’s success—from initial proposal/bidding through profitable completion—emphasizing safety performance.
Ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.

Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with job cost tracking and estimating software is a plus.
A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with project teams, field personnel, and customers.
A willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the company by embracing evolving responsibilities and technical challenges.
Desired Qualifications
Prior experience managing substation and battery storage projects.
Experience with Project Management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Unifier).
