JOB TITLE: Senior Principal Data Scientist
LOCATION: Plano, TX (hybrid role, may work from home)
DUTIES
Gather requirements, conduct analysis, solution design, and development activities; develop data science project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and manage resource allocation; lead, build and maintain Data Science and Machine Learning projects and promote Cloud Practices on AWS, Databricks using Python, PySpark, CI/CD, TensorFlow, Plotly Dash etc.; design and define complex business problems and present the solution using various advanced Machine Learning techniques such as Ensemble Models, neural networks, and statistical models; be engaged in continuous learning and skill development through training, workshops, and certifications in data science and related areas; enable Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Machine Learning Engineers to excel at delivering business value by resolving any impediments and pave a way for their noteworthy success.
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer or Data Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a machine learning engineer, data scientist/analyst, software engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 3 years in machine learning, data science, and software solution development and deployment at scale, using Python and PySpark. In lieu of a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience, employer will accept a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the field stated above and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the skill sets stated above. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
