Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: AI / ML Solutions Engineer Location: Chantilly, VA Education and Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- While certifications are not a strict requirement, relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer may be considered as evidence of competency.
- Minimum of five (5) years of software development experience, with at least three (3) years focusing on cloud-based AI/ML applications.
- Strong proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages, particularly Python, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Extensive experience in containerization and orchestration, including Kubernetes-based application development.
- Proven track record in cloud-based software development, especially with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3). Demonstrated experience with OAuth and OIDC protocols and modern single sign-on implementations.
- Solid understanding of AI workflows, AI as a service endpoint, and AI model self-hosting. Experience in developing user interfaces for AI applications, particularly chat interfaces.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and GenAI technologies is essential.
- Experience with vector databases and implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment. Government or financial services industry experience preferred.
