Your role and responsibilities
This delivery consultant role will implement IBM's Fraud detection system using IBM's safer Payments for Financial Institutions. The candidate will have strong experience in designing or implementing integration environments for Fraud detection including data translation, modeling, and implementation. The candidate will have at least 5+ year’s experience with implementing and building fraud systems for financial services organizations.
Required technical and professional expertise
The candidate will have experience in taking Customers requirements for an integration Fraud environment and building an appropriate solution to meet these needs with Safer Payments. The candidate will have detailed experience with some or all of the following IBM DB2, Orace DB, Linux, C++ development, Python, Random Forrest, Gradient Boost, Neural Networks, SAS, all in the context of detecting financial crimes.
Good communication skills are essential.
The candidate will work closely with IBM Customer’s to design and implement Integration/SOA solutions based to detect fraud for: credit/debit cards (issuing and acquiring), real time payments/mobile, online banking, check/ACH, wire/swift, commercial payments, a knowledge of Anti Money Laundering detection is a plus (sanctions, know your customer and transaction monitoring).
The candidate may also be required to participate in pre‑sales activity to convince Customers of the value of IBM solutions relating to Financial Crimes detection primarily focused around payment fraud.
Core requirements

Model tuning and false positive reduction through modeling adjustments
Experience with Fraud systems from SAS, Actimize, BAE, Oracle/Mantas, FIS, Fiserv, Feedzai, etc.
Exposure to enterprise‑critical solution development where performance, scalability and high availability are requirements
Behavior modeling ie SAS, Random Forrest, Neural Networks, Gradient Boost
C++, SQL, Python experience
Linux (Redhat, Ubuntu, Cygwin, Others)
MQ and Kafka
Ability to represent the team and be a key player in an integrated services team, customer facing skills
Ability to keep key stakeholders appraised of progress and issues
Effective written and oral communicator
Availability to travel as project/customer requirements demand
Preferred technical and professional experience
Advanced Automation Knowledge: Deep expertise in automation platforms, with the ability to leverage their full potential, is highly valued. Experience with various automation tools and technologies would be beneficial.
Technical Education Expertise: Experience with developing educational programs for complex technical platforms is advantageous. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design would be an asset.
