Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Alvarado Care Center, a 72-bed skilled nursing facility located in Los Angeles/Korea Town. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities:
Provide patient care in a manner conducive to safety and comfort
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL), obtain and record vital signs, and assist with medical procedures
Make occupied and unoccupied beds, and assist with patient transportation
Participate in the care planning process and implement care according to care plan
Perform various tasks as assigned, including but not limited to feeding, bathing, and providing personal care to patients
Qualifications:
Current California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
Current BCLS certification
No prior CNA experience required; new grads welcome!
Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and providing related bedside patient care services, as permitted by state regulation
Ability to contribute to a patient-centered environment
