Role Description This is a hybrid contract role for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer based in the Greater Chicago Area, with some flexibility for remote work. The engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing AI and machine learning models. Daily tasks include working on pattern recognition, analyzing datasets, designing neural networks, developing algorithms, and integrating natural language processing (NLP) capabilities into applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and requirements is also a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications Competency in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks
Strong background in Computer Science and Software Development
Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and their applications
Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar platforms
Ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets effectively
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; Advanced degrees preferred
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
Excellent problem-solving skills and aptitude for algorithm development
