Machine Operator Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 21.50 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Various shifts available (Sunday through Friday from 02:00pm to 06:00am)
- 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 2pm - 10pm, $21.50/hr
- 3rd Shift Sun - Thurs 10pm - 6am, $21.50/hr
- Overtime may be required daily and/or on weekends to support business needs
Operate and monitor fabrication machinery (brake presses, saws, sanders, grinders, shearers, drill presses, etc.) efficiently and safely, utilizing metals, oils, and other production materials.
Accurately read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, including angles, tolerances, and dimensions.
Perform precise measurements using a tape measure and other inspection tools.
Conduct thorough visual and functional quality checks on products throughout the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in fabrication, machine operation, blueprint reading, tape measure usage, and basic understanding of calibration principles required
- Utilize various hand tools for machine setup, adjustments, and minor maintenance tasks.
- Must be able to stand majority of shift and be able to frequently reach, bend, and stoop.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
