Inpatient EMR System: Paragon Schedule: On-call 7a-7a Patients Per Shift: 3-4 consults, 10 patients on rounds Allowed Holidays: 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, Labor Day Practice Details: Board Certification: Must be board eligible in General Surgery Fellowship: Preferred License Requirement: Must be licensed in NC Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 30 days Hospital Privileges: Required Temporary Privileges: Available On-Call Duties: On-call with call-back obligations 2-4 hours per day of rounding, remaining hours on-call Support Structure: Hospital staff only, solo on-call Preferred Experience: General Surgery: Experience in inpatient settings Surgical Procedures: Adult and pediatric patients Additional Information: Relocation Assistance: Housing available for candidates traveling for the position Flexibility: Candidates will have opportunities to pick up shifts based on availability Supportive Environment: Comprehensive support from administrative and clinical staff Documentation: Physicians must document in the timesheet the specific reason for the call back and provide supporting notes listed on their timesheet entries to verify call back hours (patient contact hours) submitted and associated with acceptable occurrences.
