JR102227It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.***Department:** Corrections**Grade:** 200**Salary:** $25.45/hour**Job Duties:*** Responsible for providing support and service to detention center personnel regarding use of Detention Technology, i.e. electronic access control systems, including IP and PLC-based systems, video surveillance systems and cameras, and detention-related software applications such as Jail Management Systems and Inmate Tracking Systems.* Provides initial review of support tickets submitted by detention center personnel and forwards to the Jackson County IT Department or outside vendor as appropriate.* Provides input in the form of technical information, status reports, or recommendations regarding Detention Technology to supervisor, Physical Security & Safety Coordinator, or other appropriate personnel.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or five years’ experience.* Must have a valid Driver License and provide his/her own transportation.* The associate is provided mobile devices including phone and laptop and is required to be on call outside of working hours for emergency support requirements.* Must submit to/pass a police background and drug screen.*If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!*The associates of Jackson County fill a vast array of positions, but they are all part of one team, sharing a common goal - serving the citizens of Jackson County.
