Maintenance Technician - Stella Apartments

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician at The Stella Apartments!

The Stella is a 132-unit affordable housing community where quality, service, and pride in the property truly matter. We're looking for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes ownership of their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to creating a safe, well-maintained environment for our residents.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances

• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and emergencies

• Complete apartment turns efficiently using make-ready boards and checklists

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and common areas

• Maintain grounds, curb appeal, and seasonal upkeep including snow removal and cleanup

• Support vendor coordination and ensure quality work from contractors

• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance needs

What You'll Bring

• At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance, building maintenance, or a related trade

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair

• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required

• CPO certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days

• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members

• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities

• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle report

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $27-$29 based on experience
