Description We are seeking modelers to assess the feasibility of ideas, refine existing concepts, and seed new ones. You will specify new micro-architecture and optimize existing ones, using your experience and intuition as a guide. The role involves analyzing specific workloads across various product categories to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. As a member of the GPU micro-architecture team, you will collaborate to improve processes and enhance team efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications Experience with CPU or GPU architecture and micro-architecture concepts
Experience in areas such as cache, memory subsystem, on-chip interconnect network, data compression, or GPU pipeline
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of C/C++
Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Python, or Ruby
Proficiency in high-performance, low-power design
Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and HDL
Hands-on experience with RTL or architectural modeling
Ability to work in uncertain environments and navigate ambiguities
Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills
At Apple, base pay is part of a total compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The pay range for this role is $181,100 to $318,400. Employees may also participate in stock programs, receive benefits including medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, and educational reimbursements. The role may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or relocation assistance.
