Overview The primary objective of the position is to develop long term business plans and relationships for Global Industries in the Asia Pacific Region and align activities within the company to meet overall sales objectives, focused at driving profitable growth through increased penetration of local accounts.
Responsibilities Establishes clear understanding of accounts current business conditions, locations of manufacturing, buying processes, competition, suppliers, and organizational structure.
Develops a detailed understanding of the customers’ business strategy, the accounts’ profile, objectives, position, installed base profile, alliance framework, project lists, and site profiles.
Prepares a detailed business plan to address how the company can best meet customer needs and business objectives.
Develops an activity plan based on the business plan.
Monitors and reports progress to the plan on a regular basis.
Develops long term relationships with key decision makers within the accounts to build understanding of business needs and potential solutions.
Develops and delivers the company’s value proposition to the customers.
Acts as host and facilitator for developing relationships between company executives and equivalent levels of management within the accounts.
Focuses on early identification and positioning on major projects achieving maximum company content.
