
Bilingual Production Manager

Our prestigiousclient is seeking a Production Manager is to manage day-to-day production activities in order to meet company targets for customer satisfaction, profitability, and growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and develop direct reporting staff, including hiring, training, and discipline
Balance direct labor between work centers based on production work loading in order to achieve the highest labor utilization
Apply Lean Manufacturing concepts to improve manufacturing processes and to achieve the highest efficiency contributing to company profitability
Work closely with QA to maintain and improve product quality
Manage effectively communication throughout the organization
Support product development activities by contributing knowledge, provide direct labor and participate to related group discussions and meetings
Understand the ERP system for day-to-day production management and generating reports
Enforce company policy throughout the workforce in the factory
Ensure employees follow safety rules
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and manufacturing skills, as provides by the company or elsewhere subject to company approval
Experience in furniture manufacturing preferred

On time completion of production

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
Reports to the VP Manufacturing/Operations
Direct interacting with LA manufacturing team
Indirect interacting with SF team
QUALIFICATIONS
Lean Manufacturing principles
Experienced in Wood, Metal, and Upholstery furniture industry
10 plus years of experience in a high production environment, with 5 years of managerial experience
Basic computer skill – Microsoft Word and Excel
Management skill on managing and working with factory employees
High energy level and willing to work long hours
Bilingual – speak English and Spanish a MUST
