Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving utilization goals as established for the Clean Room, production standards and scrap rates, meet or exceed the goal.
Responsible to maintain a workforce with associates that understand and are able to perform assignments with a positive demeanor.
Provide direction, training, leadership and motivation to the Clean Room Team.
Responsible for ensuring all associates understand and follow policies and procedures. The ability to give immediate constructive feedback to associates.
Provide feedback to the supervisor for input on 30, 60, 90 day & annual reviews.
Oversee 2 nd shift along with 2 nd shift supervisor to ensure all actions are met and standards are followed.
Oversee and train the 3 rd shift cleaner for the clean room.
Maintain and improvements for 5S standards through the clean room.
Follow our procedures and GMP to avoid non-conformances.
Participate in root cause analysis and 5 Whys, as required.
Effectively communicate with shift supervisor and Needle support team on manufacturing issues.
May act as a runner/floater in the clean room.
Creates the rotating schedule for the clean room.
Achieve on-time delivery rate for the team and value stream.
Communicate w/ the needles planner on incoming product, avoid shortages on product.
Minimize the use of overtime when meeting the customers’ needs.
Other duties as necessary.
Minimum Education/Experience Required
Minimum 2-3 years manufacturing or production experience as an operator, inspector or finisher
Prior experience directing and supervising other associates is preferred
Excellent leadership, computer, communication and organizational skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities with many time constraints .
Associate will be expected to attend safety meeting/training, serve on the facility safety committee, if asked, and participate in hazard analysis and resolution.
We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $22.00-$24.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
